Delta and Mike: BFF

Delta and I are becoming best friends. Kind of. You see, I'm keeping them in business. Unfortunately they aren't so kind to me. Yesterday I sat in the Myrtle Beach, SC airport for eight hours. Yep, that's right. I love you Delta for cancelling my flight after I'm all checked in and then making me going out and back through security. Earlier this year, they gave two other people tickets with my same seat. Can I just tell you how much I love being asked to get off the plane after I'm all buckled in. Then, to top it all off, I'm finally flying home (in first class mind you) when the air conditioning starts dripping nasty liquid (I really hope it was water) all over me. Ugh. Why can't I just apparate from place to place? Oh Harry Potter.

ANYWAY, despite my crazy travels, I have been able to travel to some amazing events. Here's the recap.

March- DRN Expo Fashion Show for Dance Spirit in Las Vegas, NV.
April- NDA College Dance Team Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL (and Disney World!)
April- Graduation in Provo/Preston and Jamyn Miller wedding.
May- Darren and Dezi Jaynes wedding.
June- Carl and CK wedding.
July- Showstopper and Hollywood Vibe Nationals for Dance Spirit in Myrtle Beach, SC.
August- Newport, CA with the Gee fam.
December- JFK--->SLC--->DISNEY WORLD--->SLC--->JFK. Wo Dude.

Weddings I'm devastated I had to miss: Chase and Alexa Hansen and Braden and Lyndsey Hansen. I love those two Hansen boys like brothers and I can't believe I wasn't there for their weddings. Living in NYC, 2000 miles away, really STINKS sometimes. However, I couldn't be more thrilled about their new wives. Alexa and Lyndsey are two of the most beautiful, amazing girls I know. Bray and Chase definitely caught the cream of the crop.

Okay, so here's a quick photo recap of the last couple of months. Now if you're wondering about the super-cute, cream and purple dress I'm wearing in every wedding pic, here's the story. As usual, Cindy and I decided to go shopping before Dezi's wedding and, of course, I fell in love with the dress. The only problem was its price tag. As I'm sure you can guess, my mom talked me into buying it, and I talked Chris into thinking it was an investment (i'm brilliant, I know). I told him that I was going to wear it to every wedding we had that summer. And I have. When I laid it out to wear to the last wedding Chris said, "Umm, Mike? Aren't you getting kind of sick of that dress?" Now that's a question I like to hear. Sounds like an open invitation to go shopping to me!

Now, without further ado, the pictures. Most of which have been stolen from other people via FB. Thank you to all those who haul their cameras around and take pictures.
