Hmmm, where to start? Thanksgiving I guess! (Has it really been that long?) Thanksgiving was simply amazing. Chris's parents, Mitch and Colleen, along with Liz, Tyler and Alex, came to visit us in the Big Apple and participate in all of the joyous festivities NYC has to offer. We saw Billy Elliot (amazing!!), the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular (I love it more every year), watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and had dinner at the revolving restaurant on top of the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. All in all, I'd have to say it was a smasing hit.

Next up, CHRISTMAS... or "The Holiday." To be completely honest, I don't mind asking everyone what their "holiday" plans are. To each their own. In the meantime, I'll continue to celebrate the birth of the Savior. Speaking of, I used to teach the five turning six year-olds primary class. I had five very lively, darling girls. One day after sharing time I asked Samantha what she wanted for Christmas. She told me, then said, "What are you asking for? Or do you celebrate Jewish?" I just about fell off my chair.Christamastime in NYC is a blast, minus the cold. Chris and I did some killer shopping and we just about froze to death. But, I must say that all of our gifts were a hit (at least I think they were). Right when we were about to fly home to peace and happiness, the storm from H-E-double hockey sticks let loose on the East Coast. All Delta flights were cancelled for four days. I was ticked to say the least. Nonetheless, Chris and I both made it home just in time for the festivities. Minus Chris inviting the swine flu to play, we had a very lovely holiday. Actually, it was freakin' awesome! Thanks to our wonderful families, we definitely cleaned up. Kindles, ipods, wiis, sewing machines, clothes... what more could you ask for? We also took family pictures with the Gees and the Baileys. A HUGE thank you to the ridiculously talented Courtney Brooke (the Gee fam) and the darling Alise Allen (the Bailey fam) who did our photos.

Since we've been back life has been crazy!! Before the break, I was amazingly blessed to be hired by Dance Spirit magazine as the Fashion Editor. It's pretty much a dream come true. I handle all of the fashion for the magazine along with writing the Beauty, Style and Health pages. In January I traveled to Baltimore, MD to shoot the Towson University Dance Team. The girls were darling and such fun models. Be sure to look for them in the April issue of DS! My acro story for the March issue of DS is now in stores or you can just read it online at http://www.dancespirit.com/articles/2496.
Chris has been such a worker bee lately. He's.... AMAZING!!! Talk about having the best husband ever! He knows I've been super stressed with working full time and getting ready to graduate from BYU in April, so he hired a cleaning lady, started doing laundry and even cooks me frozen pizzas for dinner! I love him so much. Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky.
Well, I think that's about it. We're just enjoying NYC and all it has to offer. I'm now serving in the Young Women as the Beehive Advisor to the cutest girls you've ever met (we have 13 beehives!). Chris continues to work hard as the executive secretary and we're just loving life. Bryce and Jessica are here for two months training for Bryce's job with Goldman Sachs in SLC, and we couldn't be happier! Chris and I are still trying to figure out how to keep them here. We're going to be devastated when they leave- seriously.
Now that I've written my first novel it's time for me to say goodnight- Au revoir.
post script- i've officially finished my FIVE semesters of french. I never thought the day would come.
